OPRAH'S SECRET SISTER

Questions begin formulating in the mind when commencing an investigation about a certain topic or event. The numbers and Tarot cards that are likely to reflect it begin to flash in the mind.

The numbers I was anticipating for this happy occasion were those that represent secrets, joy, family business, reunions, success and oblivion; success because Patricia was at last successful in finding the missing part of her biological family after many years of searching. The numbers I was hoping to find were 7 for secrets, 6/60, 66, 69/96 and 46/64 for family matters and 63 for women's matters. For unions and reunions I would be searching for 2, 11, 42 and 43; for patience, numbers 35 and 56. 56 also stands for being oblivious to what's going on. (Oprah had no idea that Patricia had known for years that she was her sister.) If 17 was there, it would signify achieving one's hopes and wishes. And 32 would indicate success; Patricia had several 32s.

Both Oprah and Patricias' Universal and Personal Yearly Diamonds reflected this event. I was happy to see that the numbers and Tarot cards I was hoping to find were in one or the other or both sister's Diamonds. I was also happy to see that some were in prominent positions.

Oprah: 29-1-1954 = 49/13/4; '10 UYD baseline: 5-5-3; '10 PYD baseline: 5-6-4

Patricia: 26-5-1963 = 50/14/5; '10 UYD baseline: 4-6-3; '10 PYD baseline: 4-7-5

As a full interpretation of each sister's Diamond would take up too much space, only outstanding number and Tarot card combinations are selected. As Patricia is the principle player in this, I shall begin with her numbers and Tarot cards.

Firstly, Patricia had 'secret 7' as the Heart number of her PYD and 'family 6' was her UYD's Heart number. As Heart numbers set the tone of the period they rule, these were especially good positions for 7 and 6 to hold, as they provide significant clues about what that year had in store for each of them.

Patricia was repeatedly thwarted in her attempts to find her birth mother. The numbers I use for this are 56, 2 of Swords and 35, 9 of Wands. Happily, they were in prominent positions. 56 was her UYD's Wheel Ruler and 35 was the reverse of her PYD's Wheel Ruler, 53, Knight of Swords. Both 56 and 35 provided the clues that Patricia's attempts were likely to be thwarted. 53, on the other hand, signified that she was on a quest; the quest being to find her birth mother. 35's Tarot card, the 9 of Wands was intensified. It was an important number for Patricia to have because it gave her the will and determination to persist despite setbacks. It helped to overcome 56's inertia. So, 35 was very important for Patricia to have for this occasion as her mother refused to have anything to do with her each time Patricia tried to contact her.

Patricia's UYD's Top Cycle ruler was 66, its Inner Square Ruler was 6 and the PYD's Challenge Ruler was 6. This powerful 6 emphasis validates that family matters were uppermost during the period that both Diamonds ruled. 24, 46 and 64 were also present. They also represent family matters (both sisters had them). These numbers' indications can be joyous or downright unpleasant. Now imagine how the emergence of a secret sister would disrupt a family's fabric; 64 often depicts family upsets for whatever reason. I use 69 for family reunions and 96 for extended families. A paired 69/96 is in Patricia's UYD's second cycle and she extended her family when she found her lost mother and siblings and their children.

Two very important numbers for Patricia to have were 42, 2 of Cups and 43, 3 of Cups in her Diamonds because the 2 of Cups represents unions or reuniting and the 3 of Cups celebrations besides the joy from being accepted by her biological family. Both sisters had 42 and 43 in their Diamonds.

Another important number for Patricia to have would be the number of success. It is 32, its card is the 6 of Wands. She had several 32s created from number-pairing. Four 32s made up her PYD Inner Square and one was its Ruler; all in potent positions.

17, The Star ruled her PYD's Grail. Their presence provided excellent signs that she would achieve her hopes and wishes. 10s, 13s and 21 all represent endings and 1s, new beginnings. They are other important numbers to have to indicate closure and new prospects.

Oprah's numbers and Tarot cards hinted that something unusual would likely cause a major family upset. This is easy to determine when you find her PYD's Inner Square adds to a 6 and her Heart 6 is surrounded by paired 12s. 12 equates to The Hanged Man. He is both suspended and upside down on the card. The key words in that sentence are suspended and upside down. Oprah was totally unaware of her sister's existence yet she was aware that something was going on in the family as her family members knew of Patricia and that she really was Oprah's sister. This withholding of information held Oprah in 'suspended animation' (12) until the secret (7) was revealed. Consequently, Oprah's life was temporarily turned upside down (12) until she had the time to process this revelation. Oprah's  paired 56, the 2 of Swords conveyed that she was unaware of what was going on around her. A new relationship or union was signified by the 1s and 2s surrounding her Heart 6 which is The Lovers card in the Tarot which can signify a union.

October of 2010 was the month when Oprah was told that she had a secret sister. Both sisters' Personal Month Diamonds for October are well worth calculating for this event. How to calculate them is explained in Decade Diamonds.

Two, paired 73s, the 5 of Pentacles, in Patricia's Grail for October's Monthly Diamond puzzled me until I noticed how her mother did not look at her once while being questioned by Oprah about having given Patricia up for adoption. I perceived this as a form of rejection and the 5 of Pentacles stands for elements of rejection. This was something Patricia faced - would she be rejected by her mother and Oprah when the past was revealed? I also find that 73 depicts a time when someone has something to accomplish but must do it alone; only Patricia could initiate (1 from 73) finding her birth mother.

Working with ways that different people utilise the same numbers and Tarot cards for parallel experiences and/or occasions helps us to understand their many meanings and applications. This is why it is important to study Diamonds when you notice a parallel occurring as we have with Prince William and Kate's secret, Nicole and Keith's secret and now Patricia and Oprah's secret.

It is also why I have chosen to use Patricia and Oprah for this lesson instead of the promised lesson on Prince William's natal Tarot cards because it is best to present a lesson that's fresh in our minds.
